Whatever the reason for your short break holiday at Luxury Lodges Wales, you can be sure that there is something for everyone to do no matter what their age or ability.
You might just want to escape the rigours of day-to-day life and chill in your luxury lodge, just enjoying the hot tub, views and Five Star facilities.
The again, you might want to get out and see all that Mid Wales has to offer.
Head out for a walk along the Glyndwr’s Way trail or the nearby Offa’s Dyke national trail running along the border of Wales and England.
There are also plenty of rights of way and walks locally, or maybe head into the Cambrian Mountains, the Snowdonia National Park or to the Welsh coast, just half an hour’s drive away.
Then there are historic castles and houses, such as the National Trust’ famous Powis Castle at nearby Welshpool, local towns and villages with their local farmers markets, museums and attractions for all tastes and interests. There are even several local breweries to tempt you with a tipple or two.
Close by is stunning Llyn Clywedog reservoir, Hafren Forest which leads to the source of the Rivers Severn and Wye, Elan Valley Lakes and Lake Vyrnwy.
The Shropshire border towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow are just down the road, as are the coastal and beach towns of Aberystwyth, Aberdyfi, Barmouth and a little further you have Aberaeron and Cardigan.
Then for the more adventurous there’s everything from mountain biking or road cycling (we have some amazing trails and country roads to choose from including Coed-y-Brenin and Nant-yr-Arian), clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, go karting, paintballing, pony trekking, Red Kite feeding stations, a rally school, canoeing, water sports, sailing, Yamaha Motorcycle Experience at Llanidloes and much, much more.
